Resolve CT-217

observing states during configuration.
Some tests show a dead-lock condition if the Abort command is received
just before the call to succeeded/failed.
Added a check on the GoToIdle command invoked on a sub-element,
Simplified the configure thread.
Enabled logging in pytest.
